Type locality of the syntypes of Engraulicypris whitei: 'Aapies River, near Petronella; Aapies River near Hamanskraal' (Ref. 116497). Known from Pongolo River (Ref. 13332) and Umfolozi River (Ref. 7248). Also Ref. 116496. Reports from Orange River below Augrabies Falls (Ref. 7248, 52193) refer to Engraulicypris gariepinus (Ref. 116496). |
